I am a researcher and a teacher trying to find my place in the world after I stepped out of studentdom for the first time in my life after earning my PhD this past winter. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease in late 2003 (read about this at www.celiac.com) and am just now mastering the art of cooking gluten-free. I am also learning how to quilt and have other such domestic projects going on that I hope you find interesting! A few highlights include making home-made apple cider, starting a fish tank, scrapbooking, hiking in Colorado, backpacking in Utah, traveling, and playing the piano. Enjoy the blog and please send your gluten-free friends my way!
